We now teach Hakko Denshin Ryu Jujutsu! |
In the spring of 2009, Jim Cormier was awarded the title of Head Instructor and recognized as a Sandan (3rd degree black belt) in Hakko Denshin Ryu Jujutsu by “Soke” Menkyo Kaiden-Shihan San Dai Kichu, Michael LaMonica. Soke LaMonica is the highest ranked practitioner of this art in North and South America. Sensei Cormier now trains in this art solely under Soke LaMonica.
We are extremely excited to add this beautiful martial art to our curriculum. It will be available to ages 8 and up. Please email us if you are interested. To find out more about this art, please go to www.hakkojujutsu.com. That is the website for Soke LaMonica and the honbu (North and South American Headquarters) of Hakko Denshin Ryu. It is jam packed with with all you need to know about Mr. LaMonica, his wife, Shihan Chris LaMonica and the history of this incredible art.
Note: Any class times or rates listed are only those of the honbu in Akron, Ohio. Contact us for our rates and class schedules.
